2006 Silent Auction
One of the most unique opportunities to have some access to some truly one of a kind memorabilia and sought out items, the well-attended Racing 2 Save Lives Silent Auction is responsible for raising amost a third of the funds given to children's charities.
Participants usually start milling around during setup hoping to catch a glimpse of the items being put out on display tables, with the occasional murmur "Oooh , that's what I want!" being heard, as volunteers scramble to organize the many items. As each day goes by, more bids are placed, with the last few hours of the auction activity rising to a fevered pitch. During our last event, Ben Bostrom was even spotted trying to out-bid another bidder on an exclusive original painting of his brother Eric by renowned Motorsports artist Jason Watts.
With items lite the one-of-a-kind Shoei/Red Bull/Eric Bostrom helmet to the signed limited-edition lithographs from Yamaha and Freddie Spencer, enthusiasts from around the country can take home a number of unique and coveted motorsports-related treasures.
