Racing 2 Save Lives check presentation to CASA

R2SL president Sharon Foxworthy, CASA volunteer, Bill Mansfield and
R2SL volunteer, Sheila Paul attended the CASA volunteer recognition
luncheon and presented a gift of $5000 from the 2007 MMP fundraising event.
Last week Racing 2 Save Lives volunteers gave away a donation of
$5000 to CASA - Voices for Children, an organization that provides
special advocates to child victims of abuse and neglect. This was
part of the money raised during our Spring event at Miller
Motorsports Park.

This donation would not have been possible if it not for Jodie
Mansfield. Jodie saw an R2SL update on SPEED TV and contacted us
about CASA possibly benefiting from the event in the future. We are
saddened to say that Jodie passed away before she could see her
actions pay off. Her family was there to recieve the check, and are
very proud to see that even though she may no longer be here, she is
still making a difference in the organization she believed so much
in. Thank you Jodie!
